Dear Families,
due to the new Corona restrictions, there are some changes for our midwifery work.

1) Consultations and non-urgent home visits will be postponed! The Mutter-Kind-Pass Midwife Consultation may also be carried out online or postponed. However, if it takes place in attendance, no accompanying person is currently allowed.

2) Puerperium – are carried out ANYWAY: – Home visits after early or outpatient discharge from the hospital – Home visits for various necessary checks (weight, jaundice, umbilical cord remnants, seam / injury, …) – Home visits for breastfeeding problems

3) Only me and the mom (child is of course always there) will be present in the room at every visit: it means that dad is not allowed to be there … unfortunately! We both (midwife and mom) have to wear an MNS mask and keep our distance as long as possible. Physical examinations of mom and baby are done with the right protective equipment anyway.

4) If you feel unwell, have a fever, cough or you suspect that someone in the family is sick, please give me a call: we could arrange a telephone or telemedical consultation.
